Why Boswellia.com exists, what we are trying to accomplish, and what we explicitly are not.
Educational only; not medical advice.
"Boswellia.com is an independent, research-based reference on Boswellia serrata. We summarize published clinical literature, report evidence limitations, and clearly distinguish between research findings and product evaluation. Any commercial relationships are transparently disclosed."
Interest in Boswellia serrata as a supplement has grown substantially in recent years. Much of the publicly available information falls into one of two categories: promotional content that overstates the evidence, or overly cautious dismissals that ignore genuinely interesting research. Boswellia.com was built to occupy a different position — a structured reference where someone can understand what the published research actually shows, where the evidence is strong, where it is weak, and what remains unknown.
We review published clinical trials, systematic reviews, and mechanistic studies, and describe what researchers studied and what they reported.
We apply a structured evidence grading system to every health topic and explain the reasoning behind each grade.
Industry funding, small sample sizes, short trial durations, and lack of independent replication are reported explicitly — not buried or omitted.
In vitro and animal study findings are clearly distinguished from human clinical trial evidence. Laboratory observations are not presented as established clinical effects.
If this site has commercial relationships, they are disclosed clearly and do not influence research summaries.
Research is described as studied, investigated, or evaluated — not as proven, curative, or definitively effective.
